As I was running through my sales reports and buynow monitor on Plimus, I realized that I was getting sales that weren’t being credited to my account. That’s no good, right?
I immediately submitted a support ticket on the matter and the return reply was that it was because the vendor wasn’t approving me for the sales of one of their products. They have two products and I wasn’t getting credit for the sales of one in particular.
Luckily I know the vendor. I established a connection with her within the first week of promoting her products and have kept in contact with her frequently. So, I decided to email her about the situation.
She responded promptly, went through all sales of the previous month, found that I had indeed made 65 sales that hadn’t been credited to me and is now sending me $1500 to cover them.
Add that to my $5,500 and you’ll see that I actually made… $7,000 in February!
Nice surprise, right? Yea, I know it is
There’s a lesson to be learned here, though…
If you can, be sure to drop the vendors you promote for an email once in a while to keep in touch. You never know when you might need their assistance. Many times vendors are more than happy to help you with any problems or even give you advice for how to promote their products.
After all, your sales are their sales too.
